Oshoala Scores A Brace As Barcelona Crushed Villarreal

Asisat Oshoala scored a brace as Barcelona Femeni thrashed Villarreal CF 6-0 on the road to extend their lead at the top of the Liga F table. The Super Falcons star netted her goals in the 24th and 85th minutes, while Ballon d'Or winner Aitana Bonmatí also scored twice, with Salma Paralluelo and Graham Hansen adding one goal each.

Barcelona were in control from the start and opened the scoring through Bonmatí in the 14th minute. The visitors continued to create chances and eventually doubled their lead in the 24th minute, when Oshoala grabbed her first goal of the game, tapping in from close range after a good cross from Ona Batlle. The Nigerian forward then completed her brace in the 84th minute with a header from very close range to the bottom right corner, capping off a dominant display from Barcelona.

Barcelona are so far unbeaten after eight matches into the season and the win also extends their lead at the top of the table to three points, and they will be looking to maintain their impressive start to the season when they take on Real Madrid next week.

Oshoala is one of the most feared strikers in women's football, and she is sure to be a key player for Barcelona in their quest for glory this season.

Barcelona's dominant display

Barcelona were in complete control of the game from start to finish, and they thoroughly deserved their 6-0 victory. The visitors were clinical in front of goal, and they created numerous chances throughout the match.

Bonmatí and Oshoala were both in excellent form, causing the Villarreal defence all sorts of problems and were a constant threat to the hosts.

Barcelona's win was a statement of intent, and they will be looking to continue their winning run when they take on Real Madrid, who are in also in good form sitting 2nd behind Barcelona.
