Tottenham lose for the second time this season

Tottenham Hotspur has suffered their second defeat of the 2023-2024 season, falling to a 2-1 loss against Wolverhampton Wonderers in week 12 round of the English Premier League. The loss comes as a disappointment to Tottenham fans, who were hoping to see their team mount a serious challenge for silverware this season.

Tottenham took the lead just three minutes of kickoff when Brennan Johnson scored his first goal for the North London side. However, Fulham equalized in the 90+1th minute of added time through Pablo Sarabia. The game was going down with both teams' fans thinking it will end in a draw. But that was not how Wolves wanted to end it and they scored one more through Mario Lemina in the 90+7 minutes of added time to win the match 2-1.

The loss to Wolves is Tottenham's second in the English Premier League. They first lose 4-1 at Stamford Bridge when they were beaten by Chelsea in a London derby.

Tottenham will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Wolves when they face Aston Villa in the Premier League after the international break.
