Victor Osimhen Returns to Hometown, Visits Former Schools



Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian international and Napoli striker, returned to his roots on Thursday, June 23, 2023, when he visited his former primary school in Olusosun, Lagos State.

Osimhen, who was born in Olusosun, attended Olusosun Primary School from 2004 to 2008. He then went on to attend St. Jude's Secondary School in Oregun.

During his visit to his former primary school, Osimhen was mobbed by excited fans who couldn't believe that their hometown hero was back in town. He also met with his old teachers and took pictures with the current students.

Osimhen also graced the final match of a grassroots football tournament that had been aptly named after him. The tournament was organized by the Olusosun Community Development Association (CDA).

In a video shared on his Instagram account, Osimhen said that he was "humbled" by the warm welcome he received from the people of Olusosun. He also said that he was "proud" to be from the community and that he would continue to support it in any way he could.
